I had a change of pace on Saturday and went red-fishing with my customer instead of the usual tarpon fishing that i’ve been fishing for the past several months. We headed towards the back-country near Flamingo Everglades National Park and we had a great day of red-fishing on the flats.
Most if not all of our fish were tailing or pushing wakes and feeding really well. We used small plastics to catch our fish and we managed to land over a dozen redfish on the flats.
The fishing in Flamingo Everglades National Park is excellent right now and it’s only going to get better as it gets hotter.
I have a few days open left in June and several in July, give me a call to check for availability.
