In order to maximize your chances of success while sight fishing for Bone fish, Tarpon, or Permit, I highly recommend that you allow yourself at least 2 or 3 days of fishing. This will help accommodate for any less than perfect weather conditions we might experience on a 1 or 2 day trip. This will also allow you sufficient time to get more comfortable with seeing and reading the fish, as well as allowing you’re casting skills to develop to a more effective level.

BAY BOAT: TRIPS AVAILABLE UP TO FOUR ANGLERS

Tarpon season is my busiest time of year during the tarpon migration. April through June/July is prime time for targeting tarpon on fly. We offer three, five or seven day booking during tarpon season, the most common is a five day booking. Please call for availability at least six months to a year in advance to guarantee a slot in the calendar.

If you are looking for only one or two days of  tarpon fishing, please call because at times we might have a one or two days available between booking.

Please read cancellation policy below.

A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking for each day of fishing scheduled.

Guided Trips: A 50% deposit is due at time of booking prior to thirty days of booking your trip.  Within the thirty days, full payment is due at time of booking.

Deposits can be maid via Zelle or check. Checks must be within the US and received within five business days from the time of booking and cleared to guarantee your days of fishing. Final payment must be paid thirty days prior to your trip if booking in advance.

If you prefer to pay via credit card, full payment is required at the time of booking and there will be a convenience fee added to the final cost.

Cash payments are always preferred, and a credit card will be held at the time of booking

Deposits are non refundable during any season. We will apply your deposit for a future date within the same year.  We require a written notice 30 days prior to your trip in order to reschedule your dates. If canceling within 30 days of your trip, you will be charged for the full days rate for each day booked.

Tarpon season April-July, there are no refunds or date changes during tarpon season. No shows will be charged full day rate for each day of fishing scheduled.

For multi boat or corporate trips: The full payment is due upon booking. Please call ahead so we can plan the best option for your group. Rates may vary depending on the size of your party, and all sales are final on multi boat trips.

Weather is a constant question I get when someone is booking a trip. If your charter is cancelled due to unsafe weather, your deposit will be held for a future date. The captain is the only one who can cancel due to unsafe weather conditions.

When booking a FLY FISHING trip, the customer cannot cancel if they feel it’s to windy for them to fly fish. South Florida is a tropical place and we can experience calm days and windy days, and there’s always going to be more windy days than calm days. We will always have other options for the day with spin tackle using lures as well as bait. NO FLY SNOBS PLEASE! A true fisherman should be well rounded in all types of fishing tackle and adjust to the conditions for the day.

Please contact us if you have any questions.
