We were blessed with great weather during the week of Easter. Miami had plenty of warm weather and lots of sunshine through out the whole week, and still going. We are finally seeing typical spring weather patterns and it’s about time! There are plenty of bonefish and permit in Biscayne Bay and the bonefish are mudding and eating really well.

Flamingo (Everglades National Park) has been very consistent with lots of trout, redfish, triple tail and Spanish mackerel. Up too the north end of the park there has been some areas that are holding plenty of snook. The snook are eating live baits and artificial really well.

The tarpon should start migrating any day now on the ocean side of Biscayne Bay. I’ve heard reports of small schools of fish coming off the bridges in Islamorada and the bait fishing in the channels is starting to pick up.

Now is a great time too book a trip. Warm weather, clear skies, and the fish are very active and happy.
