We have had some pretty inconsistent weather in Miami this winter, but the weather is finally warming up and the fishing is getting better everyday.
Biscayne Bay has had its fare share of good days of bonefishing and others not so good. The Inconsistent water temperature has had the bonefish staying deep and at times not wanting to eat. I’m expecting the bonefishing to heat up by next week as well as the permit fishing.
The tarpon fishing in Miami’s Government Cut has had tons of tarpon, and on some days we have been able to get out and fish for them. There has also been several black and gag grouper, along with some really nice size mangrove snappers in the mix.
Flamingo has had plenty of redfish, black drum, and trout around and it’s good to see that the snook fishing is getting better and better everyday.
Now is a great time to book a trip especially if you plan on booking some days for tarpon fishing.
I just got my camera back from getting repaired, so now I can get back too taking some pictures for my fishing reports and so you can enjoy.
