November is one of my favorite months of the year. Blue bird skies, the water temperature is cooling off, fried turkey and the bonefishing has been on fire!
Miami Biscayne Bay Bonefish
I was booked most of the week and I found myself splitting days between Biscayne Bay and Flamingo. The fishing was great in both locations. Biscayne Bay has had one of the best bonfishing that I’ve seen in a while. There are plenty of fish to be caught through out the whole day. Like I mentioned in my previous report the big fish are moving in! Now is the time to get into double digit fish and most of the fish are averaging 5 to 8 lbs and many bonefish in the 9 to 12 lbs range.
Flamingo Snook
Flamingo has had plenty of redfish and snook around. We have been catching them on pretty much everything. Flies, artificial, and live bait all depending on the angler and conditions.
