The tarpon fishing and bone-fishing has been stellar all week in Miami’s Biscayne Bay and the permit are starting to show up in good numbers.
There are still lots of tarpon swimming on the ocean side banks from Key west to Miami and we are taking full advantage of the migration. we are getting bites everyday while fly fishing for tarpon and a few on live bait using live blue crabs.
I bone fished one day this week so far and the bonefish are in full summer pattern right now. Lots of fish tailing and schooled up especially on those slightly windier over cast days.
Once tarpon season slows down I will be in full bonefish and permit fishing mode, as well as snook and red-fishing in Flamingo Everglades National Park. There will be plenty of tarpon still around in the everglades back-county all summer long so if your considering booking a trip, give me a call.
I still have some June slots available so take advantage of the great fishing we are having right now.
