The backcountry fishing in Flamingo Everglades National Park has been great. The fall bait run is in full swing and if you find the bait, you will find the fish.
The snook and red fishing in the Everglades backcountry has been off the charts. We are catching several snook and reds around the islands as well as on the flats.
Some of the best fishing right now is up the coast on the gulf edge fishing structure around creek mouths. Almost every spot that has current and some structure is holding fish and now is a great time of year for the Everglades Backcountry.
