Biscayne Bay Miami Fishing Guide Report | Big Miami Bonefish Capt Raul Montoro

I’ve had a busy December so far and for he most part the weather has been phenomenal compared to November. As usual, I’m fishing Biscayne Bay one day and Florida Bay/Flamingo Everglades National Park the next.

The bone- fishing has been steady as well as the permit fishing in Biscayne Bay. One day in particular stands out from the rest. I had a long time customer Richard on board with me for three days, and on day one at the first spot and his first cast, he landed a beautiful 12 pound Biscayne Bay Bonefish.

You couldn’t ask for a picture perfect morning. It was slicked out and you can see the bonefish tailing and pushing wakes from a couple of hundred yards away. We also had several shots at permit, but they didn’t want to play this day.

We managed one more bonefish by noon before the high tide and clouds got the best of us.

I have a few day’s left open in December. 23,24,,26,28,30,31 If you want any of these day’s give me a call.
